Malinda H. Zietlow
Malinda H. Zietlow, 96 years, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
Malinda was born the daughter of Herman and Louise (Ottow) Otto on Jan. 25, 1911 on the town of Oak Grove.
She was married to Herman Zietlow on July 24, 1932.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and the Peace Circle. While in good health in her early life, she owned and operated the Village Pantry Restaurant in Hustisford.
She was also a foster mother for 12 years. Due to an automobile accident in 1984, she was confined to a wheelchair. Malinda was very active at the Beaver Dam Care Center in the various programs at the center.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Gary (Lisa) Zuelsdorf of Beaver Dam, Cindy (Joe Whitman) Zuelsdorf of Waupun and Scott Zuelsdorf of Glendale, Ariz.; two great-grandchildren, Travis and Alison Zuelsdorf of Beaver Dam; foster daughters, Priscilla Schmude of Horicon, Barb (Ed) Metzger of Iola, Marge Anderson of Beaver Dam and Karen (Don) Horstman of Waupun; and a sister-in-law, Adeline Zietlow of Neosho. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman, in 1984; and her daughter, Yvonne Zuelsdorf, in 1982.
The funeral service for Malinda will be on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at noon at Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. The Rev. Daniel Torkelson will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 from 11 a.m. to the time of service at noon.
