Jesus took Dexter R. Schneider of Fredonia to his heavenly home on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007.

Funeral services will be held for Dexter at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, Nov. 9, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton.

Friends are welcome to visit this evening, Nov. 8, at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and also on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the service.

Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton at noon on Friday, Nov. 9.

Dexter was born in Tipton, Ind. on May 9, 1987.

He was the proud and loving Daddy of Xavier Reid. His fiancee was Jeannie Smith.

Dexter was the cherished son of Joel and Jena Schneider and the dear brother of Clay, Bianca, Grant and Asia.

Dexter attended Random Lake High School and graduated from Grafton High School.

He was a student at Cardinal Stritch University and was employed by SEEK Careers/ Staffing Inc., working in the human resources department. He had resided in Fredonia.

Dexter’s family was very important to him. He enjoyed hunting with his dad and Clay; fishing with his Pappy Jerry and playing paintball and Xbox 360 with Grant and Clay. He also tried his hand at basketball and golf.

He and his sister Bianca liked to go for drives together and then get a McDonald’s treat. Little sister Asia was as in awe of her big brother as he was of her.

Dexter is survived by his grandparents Jerry and Karen Jones of Elwood, Ind. and Leon and Carol Schneider of Grafton; his aunts Jodi (Scott) Baker and Joy (Ken) Morris; and his uncles Paul Schneider and Neil (Linda) Schneider.

He is further survived by eight cousins and his best friend Dan Geiser.

Memorials to the Xavier Schneider College Fund, in lieu of flowers, will be appreciated.
