Donna L. DuPuy
Donna L. DuPuy, nee Oster, 72, of West Bend died on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was born Oct. 3, 1935 in Milwaukee. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Herta (nee Cleff) Oster and her son, David.
After graduating from high school, Donna made her home in Milwaukee where she raised her family.
Donna was a devoted mother, very interested and involved in her children’s lives. She supported their many activities, including years of participation with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
For the past 20 years, Donna called West Bend home.
In addition to being an avid quilter and Packers and Brewers fan, she was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and Friends of Abused Families.
She also was a member of the Women of The Moose, West Bend Chapter 732.
Survivors include four children, Doreen Reske of West Bend, Duane Jr. of Hubertus, Deborah (Bruce) Dudeck of Baltimore, Md. and Donald (Janet) of Gretna, Neb.; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Reske, Andrew Plumb, Jessica (Glynn) Lane, Jenna DuPuy, Wyatt Dudeck, Tess Eidem and Megan Eidem; two great-grandchildren, Ella and Seamus Lane; two brothers, Earl (Geri) Oster of Mequon and Charles (Anita) Oster of Sussex; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was referred to as mom or grandma by many, and will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, on Friday, Nov. 16, from 4 until 7:15 p.m., followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m.
Burial will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
Memorials to the American Red Cross or the charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.
