Shirley Ann Lau
Shirley Ann Lau, 70, of Mayville, died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 9, 1937 in the town of Herman to Raymond and Phyllis (nee Hartwig) Lau.
Shirley was baptized on May 30, 1937 by Pastor Herman Cares at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, town of Herman, and confirmed on May 13, 1951 by Pastor Frank Senger at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She was a 1956 graduate of Mayville High School and a lifelong member of Emmanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, a member of the church choir, taught Sunday school at the church for seven years and was a member of the Mayville Senior Center.
Survivors include sisters and brothers, Betty (Mark) Pamperin of Allenton and Kenneth Lau of Beaver Dam; nieces and nephews, Michael (Cathy) Pamperin; Matthew Pamperin, Christa (Kyle) Musack, Joel Pamperin, Carrie (Curtis) Krohn and Andrew Lau; great-nieces and great-nephews, Holly Pamperin, Eric Pamperin, Scott Pamperin and Lilly Musack; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Theresa.
Rev. Kenneth Bittorf will officiate, and burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery, town of Herman.
Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 11 until 2 p.m.
The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.
