Michael H. Hansen

A Mass of Christian burial for Michael H. Hansen of Grafton was held on Oct. 15 at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church in Cedarburg.

Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Grafton on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 at the age of 55.

Father Tom Eichenberger officiated the funeral Mass and interment took place at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg served the family.

Michael was born on Dec. 7, 1951 in Milwaukee, son of Herman and Lois Hansen.

On May 17, 1975 he married Paula Hess at Holy Hill Catholic Church. Their marriage was blessed with two children.

Michael worked as the national sales manager who oversaw five stores nationwide for the Amateur Electronics Company. He was employed there for over 20 years.

Michael was a very involved parent to his children, never missing any of their extracurricular activities.

He loved his fish and watching the birds outside of his house, but his true love was spending time with his wife, his two children, daughter-in-law and his grandson, Kaleb.

Michael was truly proud of his family.

Michael is survived by his wife Paula Hansen of Grafton; children Michael (Rachel) Hansen of Madison and Nicole Hansen of Grafton; grandson Kaleb Hansen of Madison; parents Herman and Lois Hansen; mother-in-law Pam Hess; siblings Linda (Peter) Kolbach and Kathy (Dan) Delain; and sister-in-law Lynn (Mike) Weber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother John Hansen; and his father-in-law O. Ray Hess.

The family would like to thank the Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, Living Word Lutheran Church, St. Boniface Episcopal Church and Preschool in Me-quon, and all of the other friends, organizations and relatives who had helped the family throughout the past few years.
