Donald James "Don" Strupp
Donald James "Don" Strupp, of Slinger, was welcomed home by his Lord on Monday, Oct. 22, 2007 at St. Lukeís Medical Center, Milwaukee, after 44 years of life.
Donald was born on Aug. 13, 1963. He was a loving son of Dolores (nee Retzlaff) Hahn and the late Florian Strupp.
Don was a member of St. Peterís Catholic Church.
He took great pride in farming. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, listening to country music, watching movies, Nascar, snowmobiling and fishing.
He will be missed by his loving mother and stepfather, Dolores and Paul Hahn; his dear siblings, Kevin Strupp of Slinger, Cynthia "Cindy" (Dave) Becker of Slinger, Martin "Marty" (Janell) Strupp of Allenton, Nancy (Tim) Henn of Appleton, Shirley (Doug) Neu of Allenton, Wayne Strupp of Hartford and Judy (Bret) Millheam of Menomonee Falls; four nieces, and 12 nephews.
He will also be missed by his stepsisters, Pat (Jerry) Breuer and Bonnie (Dave) Wagner, both of West Bend; his stepsister-in-law, Donna Hahn of Plymouth; other special relatives, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Florian Strupp; an infant brother; his maternal grandparents, Earl and Lauretta Retzlaff; paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Linda Strupp; and his godmother, Donna Silber-nagel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in memory of Donald on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at St. Peterís Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St., Slinger, with Father Richard J. Stoffel officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m.
Interment will take place in (new) St. Peterís Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials will benefit the Slinger School District-Students with Special Needs Program.
The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
