Following that, Kay worked at Sunset Senior Home in West Bend, and in 2002 began at Cedar Community. Her position there was eventually the nursing manager, the job she was born to do, and Kay loved it there.

She enjoyed collecting many things, especially ‘50s flamingos and cobalt blue glass. She also enjoyed target shooting and cooking.

Her love of gardening was well evidenced by anyone who had been to visit and see her beautiful yard. Kay was always happiest in her yard.

She loved music, and together, she and Mike, along with their friends, attended many concerts over the years.
