Kathleen "Kay" Wamser

A memorial Mass will be held for Kathleen "Kay" Wamser of Saukville at 7 p.m. this evening, Oct. 30, at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church in Cedarburg.

Kay entered into eternal life on Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at the age of 72.

Father Mike Lightner will officate the memorial Mass. Family will receive friends today at the church, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Me-quon.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Kay was born in Madison on Jan. 8, 1935 to the late John and Margaret (nee Wynhoff) Poole.

On May 19, 1956, she married Robert Wamser at St. Clement’s Church in Sheboygan. Their marriage was blessed with five children.

Kay loved the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, hiking and traveling with her husband, Robert.

Kay was also a huge animal lover. She had many "grandpets."

Kay was an avid reader, but her true love was spending time with her many pets and especially spending time with her loving family.

Kay is survived by her husand Robert Wamser of Saukville; children Judy (Tom) Swetlick of Saukville, Debbie (Gene) Bradley of Saukville, Mary Jo (Kevin) Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, Mike (special friend Karen) Wamser of Cedarburg and Jim (Debbie) Wamser of Fond du Lac; her grandchildren Brian, Cathy, Megan, Melissa, Ryan, Alex, Conner, Aaron, Billy and Megan; and her brother Jack Poole of Ironwood, Mich. Kay is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association or the Ozaukee County Humane Society are appreciated.
