Lorraine Aufdermauer (nee Warnecke) of the town of Addison passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at Cedar Lake Community in West Bend. She was 92 years old.
She was born March 28,1915 in the town of Addison to Nick and Anna (nee Wiedmeyer) Warnecke. She married Roman Aufdermauer on June 18, 1935 in Nenno. Lorraine was a life long resident of the town of Addison. She enjoyed playing cards, quilting, gardening, baking and cooking. Lorraine belonged to the Allenton Quilters Guild, St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the St. Lawrence Christian Mothers and the Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by her children, Donna Lewis of West Allis, Dianne (Tom) Murphy of Prescott, Ariz., Robert (Mary) Aufdermauer of Allenton and Richard (Robin) Aufdermauer of Hartford; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Becker and Isabelle Breuer; and sister-in-law, Armella Warnecke. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman, in 1982; her parents; a sister, Marie Weis; and her brothers, Roman, Walter and Frank Warnecke.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at 7 p.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 4886 Highway 175, St. Lawrence, with Fr. Joseph Dominic officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lawrence Catholic Church or Cedar Lake Community are appreciated.
