Joseph Wild of Milwaukee entered into eternal peace on Sept. 7, 2007 at Beverly LivingCenter-Bradley, after 67 years of life.
Joseph was born on May 5, 1940 to the late Louis and Rosie (nee Ritger) Wild in St. Lawrence, where he was also raised.
Joseph graduated from Hartford High School and began working on the family farm. He also attended the University of Wisconsin school system for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed planting trees, loved spending time in the outdoors and had a great appreciation for nature. Joseph was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
He will be missed by his siblings, Irene (Jerome) Seybold of West Bend, Dolores Wild of Menomonee Falls, Gladys Sachse of West Allis, Arlene (Michael) Barron of Slinger, Mary (DeWayne) Butcher of Hartford, and Dennis (Kathy) Wild of Hartford. Joseph will also be missed by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other special relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant twin brother, Jerome; his sister, Anita Kratzke; his nephew, Andrew Brust; and a brother-in-law, Frederick Sachse.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4886 Hwy 175, Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 6 p.m., with Father Joseph Dominic officiating. Interment of Ashes will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
