Marion P. Mitchell

Marion P. Mitchell, 88, of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary with her daughters at her side.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1918, in Lena, the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Drolette) Kinziger and on June 3, 1941, she was united in marriage to C. Ernest "Ernie" "Doc" Mitchell in Lena, Wis. Her husband preceded her in death on April 9, 2004.

Marion was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and the Christian Women. She was also a member of the Kewaskum Womenís Club, a charter member of Hon-E-Kor Country Club in Kewaskum and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Marion enjoyed playing cards in numerous card clubs in Kewaskum and Campbellsport, and she was an avid Milwaukee Brewer and Green Bay Packer fan.

Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Carriveau (Fred Herman) of Campbell, Calif. and Pam Mitchell of Itasca, Ill.; two grandchildren, Chris (Ann) Carriveau and Danielle Carri-veau; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Carriveau; a sister, Eva Armstrong of Green Bay; a sister-in-law, Marie Kinziger; a brother-in-law, Bob (Ruth) Mitchell of Mineral Point, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marion was preceded in death by a brother, John Kinziger and a brother-in-law, Clarence Arm-strong.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marion will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath and Father Elroy Pesch O.F.M. Cap. will concelebrate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to the Kewaskum High School Athletic Department or Villa Loretto Nursing Home are appreciated.
