Vincent Samuel Scharpf
Vincent Samuel Scharpf, 69, of Mesa Ariz. passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 in Washington State following an unexpected illness.
He was born on July 13, 1938 in Rubicon, and worked on the familyís dairy farm until he graduated high school and joined the United States Air Force.
He traveled all over the world and was stationed in Germany, France, England, Vietnam, Korea and Greenland during his 20-year service until his retirement.
After the military, Vincent went to work for Microchip as an engineer.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Virginia; and their five children, James, Brian, Diane (Candace), Eric (Meghan) and Steven; six grandchildren, Sa-mantha, Paula, Corey, Kyle, Caden and Mason; his brother, Ken of Rubicon; his sister, Carol of Appleton; and his dog, Molly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford.
Family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Old St. Johnís Cemetery on St. Johnís Road in the town of Herman.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Heart Association would be appreciated.
