Betty Lou Nordby
Betty Lou Nordby, nee Bohn, 83, of Slinger passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 19, 1924 in Milwaukee to John and Esther (nee Luebke) Bohn, and married Harold Nordby on Sept. 21, 1946 at Jehovah Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Betty Lou was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church, Hartford, and belonged to the Ladies Guild and Caring Friends. She enjoyed gardening.
Betty Lou is survived by her children, Sue (Bob) Rossow of West Bend, Karen (Glenn) Dreisow of Slinger, Gary (Karen) Nordby of Eagle, Heidi (Glenn) Arndt of Eagle and Holly (Jerry) Weninger of West Bend; 11 grandchildren, Tracy (Tracy) Wese-man, Kristin (special friend Lenny) Rossow, Megan Rossow, Wendy Dreisow, Heather Cialdini, Chris (special friend Mandy) Nordby, Brian (special friend Tiffany) Nordby, Amy and Jon Arndt, Haley and Sam Weninger; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly (Daniel) Ahnert; and two sisters-in-law, Delores Choin-ski and Helen Nordby.
She is further survived by her dear friends, Lucille Dubis and Harriet Meyer, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents, John and Esther Bohn; and a sister, Linda Shipman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 Highway K South, Hartford, with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the church from 4 until 7 p.m.
Private interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
