Earl N. "Curly" Feiter

Earl N. "Curly" Feiter, of Slinger, entered into eternal peace on Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 at St. Lukeís Medical Center, Milwaukee, after 81 years of life.

Earl was born on Sept. 9, 1926, the son of Walter and Viola (nee Held) Feiter, in Hartford.

He honorably served his country with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Upon his return, he married Elizabeth M. Kubicek, his childhood neighbor and best friend, on Oct. 10, 1953. After marriage, the couple began a loving family of their own.

Earl was a dedicated employee of Chrysler Outboards, and in his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time in the outdoors, especially working on his yard.

Earl was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He was a member of Zunker Held Post 3358 of Slinger.

Earl will be deeply missed and forever loved by his best friend and beloved wife of 54 years, Elizabeth; his dear children, Jean (Jerry) Kreitinger of Sun Prairie, Mike Feiter of Slinger, Dan (Karen) Feiter of Hartford and Ellen Feiter of Beach Park, Ill.; his cherished grandchildren, Janelle (Landon) Hamland, Jamie, Jerica, Joel, Jordan, Tony, Katie, Nathan and Evan; his great-granddaughter. Sienna; a dear sister, Mary (Lee) Jahnke; a loving brother, Tom (Mary Kay) Feiter; and his sister-in-law, Joanne Feiter.

He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other special relatives and dear friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother, Neil Feiter.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St., Slinger,

Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m., at the church, with Father Richard J. Stoffel officiating.

Interment will take place in New St. Peterís Catholic Ceme-tery on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
