Ronald M. Behling
Ronald M. Behling of Sheboygan Falls passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 68 years old.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1938 in Hartford to William and Edna (nee Guest) Behling. He married Shirley Wagner on July 14, 1962 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
Ron worked for Simplicity for 33 years. He was also a volunteer EMT with the Belgium Fire and Rescue Squad.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved spending time outdoors. He loved bowling, horseshoes, gardening and keeping his lawn meticulous. He loved spending time with his family and his friends watching sports especially the Packers. He was a very outgoing and social guy. He was a member of the Lake Breeze CB Club. Ron was always willing to help those with a need.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Shirley; a son, Scott (Marion) Behling of Oostburg; two daughters, Amber McFarlin of Princeton and Kim (Eric) Kamine of Sheboygan Falls; a grandchild, Cole Kamine; three brothers, George (Edna) Behling of Ohio, Norman (Josie) Behling of Hartford and Roy (Ruth) Behling of Iron Ridge; a sister, Jean (Wayne) Koester of Hustisford; and two sisters-in-law Violet Behling of Mayville and Marie Behling of Slinger. Ron is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ed and Lloyd.
The funeral service for Ron was Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford. Family greeted relatives and friends on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
