Janet "Jan" Ruth Daute was born on July 18, 1956 in Milwaukee, daughter of Myrtle (nee Koester) and the late Walter Sadowsky.

She was born to everlasting life on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007.

Jan was employed at Ozaukee Bank in Mequon as an assistant client services supervisor. She was a warm caring dedicated employee who always put her customersí needs first. She loved working with everyone at the bank and was a friend to all of her co-workers,

Jan loved life. Her greatest joys were her family and friends. She would always be the first one to offer her help to anyoneís cause and could not leave until the objective was met.

Her unselfish ways would often rub off on those around her. You could not help to find yourself more energetic, motivated and enthusiastic in her presence.

She lived life for the day and always looked forward during her journey through life.

The best way to see her magnetic smile (if you had the time to listen) was to bring up the subject of her grandchildren who were the sunshine in her life. She always beamed with pride with who they had become and what they were learning on a day-to-day basis.

Up to and including the day she left us, Jan was a devoted Christian. She lived her life based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and often found strength in his message.

When offered the opportunity, she taught many young people about Godís love as a Sunday school teacher. She shared her teachings with the same passion she taught her own children.

Jan was very involved in her church and loved working on many different projects through the years with all of the people at Grace Lutheran Church. She was an inspiration to us all!

Jan is survived by her children Steve (Kristie) Daute of West Bend, Tricia Daute of Hartland and Robin (Jared) Krajenka of Grafton; grandchildren Catrina Daute, Andy David and Lauren Daute; her mother Myrtle (nee Koester) Sadowsky; brother Alan (Sara) Sadowsky of Fredonia; and her sisters Joyce (Bruce) Myers of Shorewood and Lois (Ross) Kroeger of Milwaukee. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, close friends and professional ac-quaintances (who probably numbered in the thousands).

She was preceded in death by her father Walter; brothers Richard and Robert; and her sister Joan Laabs.

The family would like to thank everyone for all their love and prayers.

May the memories of Janís loving soul live in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the education fund of Janís grandchildren are appreciated.
