Richard A. Wick

Richard A. Wick, 65, of Jackson died on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital, town of Polk.

He was born on April 21, 1942 in Milwaukee to the late Sylvester M. and Emily (nee Cherney) Wick.

Richard grew up in Menomonee Falls, attending local schools. After graduating from high school, he served with the United States Air Force.

Following his discharge in 1965, he returned to Wisconsin, and later graduated from Marquette University, earning his bachelor’s degree in business.

Richard loved the game of golf, and was a longtime member of the Hartford Country Club.

On Feb. 8, 2000, he was united in marriage to Damaris Marchena in West Bend.

Survivors include his wife Damaris; three children, Allan (Lisa) of Sussex, Jerry (Kendall) of New Berlin and JoDee of West Allis; six grandchildren; a brother, Glen (Susan) of Merrillan; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend, with Father Gerald Brittain presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, Menomonee Falls.

The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation on Saturday at the church only from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.

The family has requested memorials to the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association of Wisconsin, Jackson office.

The Schmidt Funeral Home of Jackson is serving the family.
