Sandra J. Huck
Sandra J. Huck, 68, a former resident of Fredonia, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, following a courageous battle with brain cancer.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1939, a daughter of Chester and Pauline Rickard Strebe in Fond du Lac, and on Dec. 6, 1958, she married Sylvester H. Huck in Fond du Lac.
Sandra held a degree in special education, and was employed with the Wautoma School District from 1987-1995.
Following the death of her husband, Sylvester, in 1995, Sandra became employed with the Ke-waskum School District until 2005.
Sandra loved children and served as a foster parent for more than 20 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Terri (Trev) Timblin of Fredonia and son, Sylvester (Sheree) Huck of Wautoma; three foster daughters, Marilyn (Den-nis) Abraham of Fond du Lac, Betty (Keith) Babler of Cascade and Pat (Doug) Koepke of Eau Claire, together with many other foster daughters; 11 grandchildren, Tocarra, T.J. and Tanner Timblin, Gabriel Huck, Heather, Amy and Cory Abra-ham, Justin and Wesley Babler; Erin and Nicholas Koepke; two great-granddaughters, Ella and Grace; and a brother, Richard (Marlene) Strebe of Fond du Lac.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sylvester H. Huck on Sept. 15, 1995; and a grandson, Sylvester Leonard Huck.
The funeral service for Sandra will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, with the Rev. Thomas Behnke officiating.
Family and friends may call at the funera chapel on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to the time of service.
Entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
