Harold Edward "Butch" Puckett Jr.

Harold Edward "Butch" Puckett Jr., age 59, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 surrounded by his loving family at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Butch was born on Dec. 28, 1947 in Boscobel.

Butch met and fell in love with his wife, Charlotte "Chas," of 40 years in West Bend; together raising two beautiful daughters.

Butch drove over the road semis for most of his working life.

His passions included riding his Harley-Davidson, taking trips annually to Sturgis, S.D., fishing the Mississippi and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte "Chas" (nee Olson) of West Bend; his two adoring daughters, Tammy Schinker (special friend Gregg) of Two Rivers and Sherry (George) Rickmeier of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Steven, Heather, Shane, Crystal, Holly, Connor and Sebastian; and two great-granddaughters, Katrina and Lylyan.

He is also survived by two sisters and a brother, Lou Ann (Robert) Atkinson, Bruce Puckett and Donna (Mohammad) Alafawi.

Butch is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father, Harold Sr., and family friend, David Panzer.

A funeral service in honor of Butch will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.

Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cremation will follow at Paradise Cremation Services.
