Ned B. Thompson

Ned B. Thompson, 52, of Iron Ridge, died on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at his residence.

He was born May 12, 1955 in Hartford to Arthur Sr. and Harriet (Kempfer) Thompson, and married April J. Miller on May 28, 1977 in Mayville.

Ned graduated from Lomira High School in 1974 and was a financial advisor for Modern Woodmen of America for 28 years in Horicon, receiving the designation of FICF and LUTCF.

He was a member of St. Michaelís Ev. Luth-eran Church in Hustis-ford, a member of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors, National Association of Insurance and Financial Ad-visors, the Million Dollar Round Table for 11 years and the 2001 District Representative Advisory Panel,

Ned qualified for the Modern Woodman Century Club for two years, Presidentís Club for 14 years, Presidentís Cabinet for eight years and National Agency Sales Conference for 24 years.

Survivors include his wife, April; his parents, Arthur and Harriet Thompson Sr. of Theresa; children, Westly R. (Lacey) Thompson of Horicon; Lindsey J. Thompson of Ripon and Brittany S. Thompson of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Mackenzie Rose Thompson and Dakota Ryan Thompson; sisters and brothers, Roseanne (Kenneth) Kirchner Sr. of Mt. Calvary, Arthur (Donna) Thompson Jr. of Oakwood, Ga., Christine (Bud) Zimmel of Marshfield, Timothy Thompson of Pueblo, Colo., Katheryn (Thomas) Junger of Cudahy and Gerald (Jen-ny) Thompson of Iron Ridge; and three brothers-in-law, Steven Miller of Chicago, Ill., Terry (Diane) Miller of Hori-con and Jeffrey Miller of Iron Ridge.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Michaelís Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford.

Rev. Peter Fridley will officiate, and burial will be in Hustisford City Cemetery.

Visitation at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, will be held on Wednesday, April 2, from 4 until 7 p.m., and also at the church on Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m.
