Claudia Anna Roeber

Claudia Anna Roeber went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Meadow View Nursing Home in Sheboygan, at the age of 79.

Funeral Services will be held for Claudia at 12:30 p.m. on April 5 at St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center.

The Rev. Greg Laska, pastor of the church, will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth is assisting the family with arrangements.

Claudia was born in Brisbane, Australia on Dec. 30, 1928, daughter of Walter Claude and Maise Patressa (Blanche) Valentine.

She married Robert F. Kehoss in Brisbane on Jan. 6, 1946. Robert preceded her in death on July 12, 1981.

Shortly after the war, Claudia came to the U.S. to join her husband Robert, where they began a family in the Milwaukee and Cedarburg areas.

Claudia later married Oliver G. Roeber on Feb. 1, 1962 at David Star Lutheran Church in Germantown.

The couple made their home in the Cedarburg area and later moved to Random Lake in 1987.

Oliver preceded her in death on July 3, 2000.

Claudia was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center and a member of the Cedarburg Doll Club.

In her free time, she was a passionate collector and restorer of antique dolls.

She also enjoyed playing the piano, animals and doing volunteer work around the area. Her most beloved pastime was being a loving and caring mother of six.

Claudia is survived by her children Donna Kehoss and Larry Bauchman of Cheshire, Conn., David (Crystal) Kehoss of Cheshire, Conn., Dale (Mary) Kehoss of Mequon, Mady Schwab of Random Lake, Russel Roeber of Cedarburg and Elizabeth Roeber (special friend Daniel Trice) of Random Lake; her grandchildren Melanie and Veronica Kehoss, Kristy Mae and Nicholas Kehoss, Claudia, Olivia and Mary Kling and Oliver Trice; and her sister Madeline Valentine of Brisbane, Australia.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Robert F. Kehoss and Oliver G. Roeber; and her brother Patrick "Micky" Valentine.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Claudia A. Roeber.
