Margaret was born on Oct. 2, 1918 in the home of her parents, Alfred and Minnie (nee Herziger) Luber.
On Valentine’s Day, 1942 at West Mequon Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Margaret married William F. Gother and was happily married for 60 years.
She was a mother, Girl Scout leader, church organist at West Mequon and a heck of a good card player.
She loved volunteering for the Homestead High School marching band, gardening, square dancing and cats.
Margaret lived 70 years of her life in Mequon and 19 years in the Chippewa Falls area, but her heart and home was always in Mequon.
Margaret is survived by daughters Nancy (Craig) Miller of Chippewa Falls and Susan (David) Clark of Longmont, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Scott and Brian Miller and Kelsey Clark.
