Marilyn H. Schauer
Marilyn H. Schauer, nee Lepien, 76, of Hartford was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
Marilyn was born March 23, 1932 in Hartford to Edward and Anita (nee Schwamb) Lepien, and was united in marriage to Orville Schauer on June 9, 1951 at the United Evangelical Brethren Church in Hartford.
Marilyn worked alongside Orville on the farm as well as raising her family.
She was always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.
She enjoyed gardening, embroidering, cooking and baking.
Marilyn was a member of the First United Methodist church in Hartford where she volunteered in many areas and was a member of their Endowment Board.
Marilyn was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and always remembered for the great strength she showed.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Dawn) Schauer and her daughter, Kristine (Ronald) Weber, both of Hartford; seven grandchildren, Tracy (John) Loosen, Deanna (Jon) Lang, Crystal (Brian) Oldenwald, Darrin Schauer (fiancˇe Amber Feutz), Derrick Weber, Michelle Weber (special friend Adam Bell), and Justin Weber; three great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Kyle Loosen and Trevor Lang; her sisters, Janet (Marvin) Moldenhauer of Iron Ridge and Carol (Roger) Fink of Mayville; and her brother, Ned (Caroline) Lepien of Hart-ford.
She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orville.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be held Sunday, April 20, at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 738 W. Monroe St. Hartford, with Rev. Brian Kundinger officiating.
Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be Monday at 11a.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
