Vivian M. Prochnow

Vivian M. Prochnow, nee Tschetter, 84, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1923 in Freeman, S.D. to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Kleinsas-ser) Tschetter, and was united in marriage to Edward A. Prochnow on Oct. 31, 1942 in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Edward passed away on July 2, 1997.

Vivian was a member of St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend, and was an active member of the Ladies Aid for many years.

She had a special innocence and a warm, loving heart.

Vivian enjoyed life and time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Joal (Elke) Prochnow and Allen (Gabriele) Prochnow; six grandchildren, Heidi (fiance Dan Seliger) Prochnow, Edward Proc-hnow, Jeffrey (Starr) Prochnow, Brian Prochnow, Adam Vander-Veen and Alex VanderVeen; four great-grandchildren, Grace, Jack-son, Harrison and Edward; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, on Wednesday, April 30, from 4 p.m. until the time of a prayer vigil at 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sxith Ave., West Bend (please meet at the church).

Rev. Jeff Dorth will officiate, and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
