A funeral service will be held for Olga Hilgendorf (nee Sliepka) of Mequon at 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 30, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt.
Olga died on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the age of 91, at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital.
Visitation will be held this evening, April 29, at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the church on Wednesday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
Olga was born on Sept. 11, 1916 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Anthony and Augustine (nee Kollar) Sliepka.
On Nov. 25, 1954, Olga was united in marriage to Alfred Hilgendorf at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cedarburg.
Olga was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid "Jolly 21" and worked for Sears from 1972-96.
She enjoyed baking, reading, traveling and her family. She also loved the Mequon - Freistadt area.
Olga is survived by her children Joanne Hilgendorf, Elaine Dunn and Roger (Nancy) Hilgendorf; her grandchildren Renee (Kevin) Townsend, Christine (Ron) DeLong, Michele (Kevin) Klages and Mark (Sara) Muellner; and her sister Mary Sliepka. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Olga was preceded in death by her husband Alfred; her son Marty; her son-in-law Mick Dunn; and her sister Millie Beno.
