Helen M. Clark

Helen M. Clark (nee McFadden) of Cedarburg passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the age 104. A memorial service will be held for Helen at 4 p.m. today, Aug. 12, at the Ozaukee Congregational Church, 1142 Lakefield Road, in Grafton. The Rev. Richard P. Buchman and the Rev. Garland E. Criswell will officiate the service. Northshore Funeral Services in Milwaukee (414-961-1812) is serving the family.

Helen M. Clark was born in Saginaw, Mich. on April 5, 1904. She grew up in Flint, Mich. After her marriage to Harry W. Clark Sr., she lived and raised her family in East Chicago, Ind. where her husband was a physical education instructor and coach at Washington High School. In 1950, she moved with her husband to Crown Point, Ind. and resided there until 1984 when she moved to Cedarburg.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Harry W. "Potsy" Clark; the mother of the Rev. Harry W. Clark Jr.; the mother-in-law of Eleanora "Nora"; mother of the late James E. Clark; grandmother of Terry Lynn (Rick) Clark Bauman, Laury Lynn Clark and Amy Lynn (Steve Walters) Clark Walters; and great-grandmother of Dane and Roc Clark Bauman. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Youth Programs at the North Shore Congregational Church and the Ozaukee Congregational Church (to be used at the discretion of Rob Frederickson, Youth Program Director for the two churches) are appreciated.
