Darlene E. Erdmann
Funeral services will be held for Darlene E. Erdmann of Cedarburg at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 12, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Darlene passed away at the age of 70 on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Darlene was born on March 13, 1938 in Cedarburg, daughter of the late Ella and Henry Klug Sr. She grew up on a farm in Saukville and enjoyed the animals and country living. Darlene had been married for 48 years this month to her loving husband, Howard R. Erdmann.
Darlene graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1955 and completed her nursing degree in 1958. She worked for Milwaukee County Mental Health Department for 10 years. She then worked at Bradley Convalescent Center in Milwaukee for 30 years before retiring in 2001.
Darlene enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, gambling, watching TV game shows and dearly loved her dog "B.J."
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Howard R. Erdmann; and her loving children, David S. Erdmann of Orlando, Fla. and Rachel S. Erdmann of Gilbert, Ariz. She is also survived by her sister, Delila (the late Ray) Mazemke; her brother, Henry "Bud" (Kaye) Klug; and her sisters-in-law Doris (Clarence) Musfeldt and Alice (James) Wade. She is further survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her brother, Donald W. Klug.
