Olive A. Woltring

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Olive A. Woltring (nee Flierl) at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church North, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, in Cedarburg. Olive passed away peacefully surrounded by loving friends on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at Lasata Care Center, at the age of 97. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Grafton. The Mass will be followed by a reception at the church for family and friends Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Olive was born on Nov. 1, 1910 in West Allis, the daughter of Albert J. and Barbara (nee Uselding) Flierl. Olive was a resident of Cedarburg her entire life and was married to Lester Woltring, her beloved husband of 39 years, prior to his passing in 1971. Together they had one daughter, Barbara. Olive never remarried after Lesterís death, as there was never any other man for her but her Lester.

Olive worked many years at Grafton Woolen Mills and Wirthís Department Store. In addition, she also worked as a volunteer at Lasata Care Center.

Olive is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Briant; grandchildren, Rhonda Blevins, Randy Ruegg and Brian Ruegg; and great-grandchildren Melissa, Thomas, Gregory and Angie. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
