Marcella Jaeger-Berkholtz, 92

Marcella Jaeger-Berkholtz (Bischoff), 92, of West Bend, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center, town of West Bend.

She was born in 1916 in Milwaukee to the late Ernst and Rosa (Dahlke) Bischoff.

Marcella married Roland Jaeger in 1939. She and Roland owned several businesses in West Bend including the Parkway Deli, Drive-In, & Catering; The Parkette Soda Fountain & Camera Shop; Jaegerís Gifts; and West Park Realty Company.

Roland passed away in 1974.

Marcella then married Harold Berkholtz in 1975 and he passed away in 1986.

Marcella served as a Washington County Board Supervisor for several years and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an active member of St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend.

She is survived by four children, Douglas (Barbara) Jaeger of Beach Park, Ill., David Jaeger of Houston, Texas, Jennifer (Herb) Wolf of West Bend and Jan Turner of Charleston, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Dan Jaeger, Mike (Michelle) Jaeger, Jon (Mary) Jaeger, Jeff (fiancťe Jessica Kivnik) Jaeger, Andrea (Scott) Miehls, Matt (Brandy) Wolf and Amanda Wolf; three great-grandchildren, Katie Jaeger, Matt Jaeger and Brooklyn Wolf; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Jaeger of Brookfield and Dorothea Goede of Greenfield; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-inlaw, Marlene Jaeger; three sisters, Rose, Elnora and Clara; and two brothers, Frank and Elmer.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sixth Ave. The Rev. George Mumm will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Visitation will be at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to St. Johnís Lutheran Church and School would be appreciated.
