Glenn F. Beaudreau, 91
Glenn F. Beaudreau, age 91, of West Bend
passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Cedar Lake Health &
Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1916, in Loveland, Ohio, to the late Francis and
Olga (Schmidt) Beaudreau. At an early age he moved with his family to Fond
du Lac and then Milwaukee, where he grew up.
On Nov. 5, 1938, Glenn was united in marriage to Pearl Rabe in Palmyra.
They resided in Milwaukee and Glenn worked for the Cutler-Hammer/Eaton
Corporation.
He retired in 1981, and they moved to Cedar Ridge in 1998.
While living in Milwaukee, he was a member of the Washington Park Senior
Center.
Glenn enjoyed fishing, square dancing, camping, sheepshead and working in
the wood shop at Cedar Ridge. His real passion was photography – taking
photographs and developing them in his dark room.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Doreen Beaudreau of
Coatsville, Pa., and Ellen Sushak of Beaver Dam; a sister, Audree (Gerald)
Hall of Manchester, Mo.; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services in remembrance of Glenn will be held at 4 p.m., Friday at
the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Private
entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials to Cedar
Community are appreciated.
