Clorinda Frances (nee Guido) Doran
Clorinda Frances (nee Guido) Doran, formerly of Manchester Heights Apartments in Grafton and the Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, died at the age of 88 on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at Kathy’s Hospice in West Bend. Funeral services and visitation took place on Aug. 14 at the Poole Funeral Home in Port Washington. Interment was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.
Clorinda Guido was born on April 25, 1920 in Chicago, daughter of Anthony and Helen Iannidinardo Guido. On Aug. 18, 1945, she married James A. Doran in Chicago. She raised her family in Milwaukee and actively worked as a beautician. Later, she was an inspector with the former Fredman Bag Co. of Milwaukee, retiring in 1982. Clorinda’s husband preceded her in death in February of 1980.
In 1988, Clorinda moved to Grafton to be closer to family. She enjoyed the Grafton Senior Center, the Silver Bells Dance Group and volunteering with the Meals on Wheels program. She had been a resident of Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg until recently.
Clorinda is survived by five children, Nancy (Jim) Osborn of Port Clinton, Ohio, Robert (Carrie) Doran of Fortuna, Mo., Roxanne (Kent) Bayle of DeKalb, Ill., Marcia "Marci" (John) Hauck of Grafton and Kathy Wick of AppleValley, Minn.; six grandchildren, Danny Doran, Ben and Laura Bayle, Tanya and Troy Hauck and Daniel Wick; and other relatives and friends.
Clorinda was preceded in death by her husband, James Doran; and her brother, Ernie Guido.
