Mary Jane Camin

Mary Jane Camin (nee Long), 86, of West Bend passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital of West Bend.

Mary Jane was born on Oct. 31, 1921 to Arthur and Anne (nee Ridings) Long in Sturgeon Bay. She married the late Hugh Camin.

The couple raised their family in Bayside. Mary Jane was a loving mother to five children and later spent several years as a recreational director for Nicolet High School. After retirement they moved to Arizona and spent their summers at their cottage on Moonlight Bay in Door County. Later, Mary Jane moved to West Bend to be closer to her family.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Lynne (Denny) Widener of Dahlonega, Ga., David Camin of West Bend and Kay (Jay) Moegenburg of Slinger; her grandchildren, John Parrish Jr., Christopher (Melissa) Parrish, Jennifer (Mark) Willacker, Megan Camin, Madeline Camin, Kyle Moegenburg and Mitchell Moegenburg; and her great-grandchildren, Samuel and Seth Parrish, Judah Willacker and Sophia Moegenburg.

Further survived by a nephew, Rob (DorisAnne) Wietermann; a former daughter-in-law, Lynn Camin; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugh, sons Hugh Jr. and John, and her sister, Jeanette (Bob) Weitermann.

A Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Father Jeffrey Haines officiating. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery of Milwaukee. Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m.
