Coletta C. Strupp, 91

Coletta C. Strupp (Thill), of West Bend, died in the presence of her son, Fr. James Strupp, on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Kathy Hospice at the age of 91.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1917, in Saukville to the late Dominic and Barbara (Robb) Thill.

After her marriage to Raymond G. Strupp on Oct. 20, 1938, at Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville, they moved to West Bend.

They later returned to Saukville for a short time before making their home in the West Bend area.

Raymond predeceased March 11, 1988.

Throughout her life, Coletta enjoyed playing bingo and cards, particularly sheepshead.

She was a member of the Women Of The Moose West Bend Chapter 732 and the Christian Women’s Confraternity at Resurrection Parish.

Survivors include her son Fr. James Strupp of West Bend; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Theodore, Eugene, Ambrose and Alfred; and two sisters, Edna Hoeft and Evarista Marshall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church in Allenton with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.

Visitation will be at the church only on Friday from 10 until 10:45 a.m.
