Clemens A. ‘Clem’ Wolf
Clemens A. "Clem" Wolf, of King, formerly of Allenton, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Clem was 89 years old.
He was born Oct. 20, 1918, the son of Martin and Mary (Mueller) Wolf. Clem was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Allenton.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in both the European and Pacific theaters.
Clem farmed for most of his life and he loved bowling.
He is survived by his beloved brothers, Wilmer (Lucy) Wolf of Allenton, Albert (Mildred) Wolf of Allenton, Fr. Eugene Wolf and Fr. Werner Wolf, both of St. Lawrence Seminary, Mt. Calvary. Clem is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 215 Main St., Allenton, with Fr. Eugene Wolf and Fr. Werner Wolf concelebrating.
Visitation will be on Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m., and on Saturday morning at church from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Nenno.
