Robert "Bob" W. Park
Funeral services will be held for Robert "Bob" W. Park of Grafton at 11:30 a.m. today, Dec. 2, at Grace Lutheran Church, 715 6th Ave., in Grafton. Bob died after a courageous battle with an extended illness on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at Columbia St. Mary Hospital, at the age of 72. The Rev. Paul Bulgerin will officiate at the service. Visitation will be held today only at the church, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Bob was born on March 23, 1936 in Lansing, Mich., son of Carl and Geraldine (nŽe Goehrend) Park. He attended Michigan State University and served during the Korean Conflict in the Marine Corps Band. On Aug. 8, 1959, Bob was united in marriage to Judy (nŽe Bolan) in Lansing, Mich. They were married for 49 years.
Bob owned and operated Roll-O-Graphics in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. The company now holds the patent to provide a coupon advertising medium, "printed cash register receipt rolls," which Bob owned for 10 years.
Bob enjoyed golfing and our Milwaukee Brewers. He was a proud season ticket holder and loved taking his granddaughters to the games at Miller Park. Gin Rummy was a card game that Bob loved to play with his friends in Bonita Springs, Fla., where he and Judy lived for half of the year. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughters, Megan and Emily.
Bob is survived by his dear wife, Judy; daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Olson; and granddaughters, Megan and Emily Olson. Bob was the brother of Donald (Linda) Park. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
