Elva M. Keup
Funeral services were held for Elva M. Keup of Cedarburg on Dec. 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cedarburg. Elva died on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at the age of 95. Visitation was held at the church on Wednesday, and the burial took place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home of Cedarburg assisted the family.
Elva was born in Cedarburg on Oct. 1, 1913, the daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina (nŽe Beckmann) Keup. Elva worked on the family farm all her life, and was known for her fancy work and baking. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
Elva is survived by nieces and nephews, Vernon (Georgia) Kohlwey, Helen (the late Howard) Hensel, Karen (Victor) Seefeldt and Allen Keup; great-nieces and great-nephews, Heidi (Daniel) Senger, Peter (Sharon) Hensel, Katie (Andrew) Strike and Laura (Jamie) De Groot; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Hayley (Christopher) Steckel, Lucas (Samantha) Senger, Nicholas (Katie) Senger, Julie (Jeff) Woodrow and Erin (Cory) Chisel; and great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews, Brianne Steckel, Bennett Steckel, Ella Senger, Ava Senger and Jadyn Senger. Elva was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Edwin and Walter; her sister Hertha; and her twin sister Althea.
