Lucille A. Prochnow, 85
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson, for Lucille A. Prochnow, 85, of Jackson, who died on Dec. 3, 2008, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery. Visitation was at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials to David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson; Our Savior Lutheran Church, Grafton; or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School appreciated. Mueller Funeral Home of Cedarburg assisted the family. For online condolences, please go to www.muellerfuneralhome.com. Lucille was born in Rockfield on Jan. 3, 1923, to the late Adolph and the late Louise (Koepke) Rusch. She lived in the Jackson area all her life and married Harry Prochnow on May 22, 1943, at David’s Star. Lucille remained a lifelong member of the church and was in Ladies Aid and Choir. She and Harry had one daughter, Janice. Lucille was a homemaker and was also employed as a secretary for over 40 years at Liesener Trucking and Topsoil of Jackson. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed the holidays. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Janice (Ron) Boehlke of Jackson; granddaughters, Jill (Robert) Klug of Grafton and Kay (Randal) Wagner of Jackson; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Abigail Klug of Grafton and Michael, Austin and Jordan Wagner of Jackson; sisters, Doris Chandler-Bartelt of Germantown, Ruth (Alvin) Laverenz of Jackson; sister-in-law, Marianna (Art) Ziemer of Cedarburg; many nieces and nephews who called her Lulu, other relatives and friends from card club and senior citizens.
