Warren J. Dickmann, 87

Warren J. Dickmann was born on Oct. 28, 1921, the son of the late Jacob Sr. and Agnes (née Wollmer) Dickmann. He was born into eternal life on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 in Milwaukee, at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Dec. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington Street, Grafton).  Visitation will be held at the church only, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Warren served his country during World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard as a seaman, first class. Warren married Pearl Leona (née Maas) on May 2, 1964 at St. Joseph Parsonage in Grafton. Together they enjoyed going to Arlington Park to watch the horse races. He was a very proud, longtime member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post 355 in Grafton. He also enjoyed participating in the holiday parades with the legion. Warren did love our Green Bay Packers.

Warren is survived by his brother, Jacob Jr. (Marie) Dickmann; sister-in-law, Betty Dickmann; and brother-in-law, Oliver Karrels. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. Warren was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and three sisters.  Memorials to Rose Harms American Legion Post are appreciated. For online condolences, visit www.muellerfuneralhome.com
