Mildred Gallup of Allenton, 90, passed away on Jan. 4, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley H. Gallup, a Lutheran minister in Milwaukee.
Mildred, along with her husband, collected one of the most extensive 18th-century porcelain collections in Wisconsin along with many items Americana and European art.
Her father, William Seideman, was one of the founders of Snap- On Tools.
Mildred enjoyed living in her country home, observing and caring for wildlife around her.
Her family has many fond memories visiting her at her home. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyn (Reuben) Getschow of Cedarburg and a son, Wesley Gary (Valerie) Gallup of Allenton.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Gregory (Kim) Getschow of Connecticut, Michael Getschow and Leslie (Jaren) Klett, both of Milwaukee, David (Cindy) Getschow of Grafton, Elizabeth Getschow of Milwaukee, and three granddaughters in Allenton and Florida; and 10 great-grandchildren.
