Daniel L. Zarling

Daniel L. Zarling entered peace and eternal life on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008. He passed away unexpectedly in his home in Madison at the age of 29.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Christ Church, 10606 N. Port Washington Road in Mequon.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton is serving the family.

Dan was a very caring person. Throughout his short life he had many interests including playing soccer, football, golf, baseball and his guitar. He also loved to work out at the fitness center.

Dan held a degree in business and a paralegal certificate from UW-Whitewater where he played on the football team; was secretary of the law society and a senator in the student government organization.

A highlight of his life was a semester abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Dan will be so deeply missed by his family and friends.

Dan is survived by his loving parents David and Trudy Zarling; sisters Deb (Mike) Fusek and Amy (Jon) Nitschke; grandmothers Dorothy Zarling and Grace Verbrick; aunts and uncles Kathy (Ed) Lance, Bill (Babs) Verbrick and George Verbrick; cousins Erin Lance and Andre Verbrick; and nieces and nephews Jacob, Sabrina and Jadon Fusek.

Dan was preceded in death by his grandfathers Roy Zarling and Eddie Verbrick.
