Suzanne Coffey, nee Walton, of Augusta, Ga., died peacefully at the age of 50, on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 while surrounded by her family.
She was born March 6, 1957 in Milwaukee and moved to West Bend in 1963.
Suzanne graduated from West Bend West High School in 1975 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1980 where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority.
She married Larry Coffey on March 12, 1983. They celebrated 24 beautiful years together and were blessed with two loving daughters, Kailin, 20, and Kylie, 15.
Suzanne was employed by the Bechtel Co. of San Francisco as a cost engineer.
She and her husband transferred to Georgia in 1985 and made Augusta their home, where she was a member of the Augusta Junior League.
Suzanne quietly affected many people with her loving attitude and presence while battling her own cancer for over 10 years.
In addition to her husband and two daughters, she is further survived by her parents and two siblings, Mary Walton and John Walton Jr., along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Thursday, Feb. 7, at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church in Augusta.
