H. John "Jack" Zadrazil

H. John "Jack" Zadrazil, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008.

He was born in Muscoda, to the late John and Kathryn (Sikhart) Zad-razil on Sept. 6, 1920.

Jack attended the Univer-sity of Wiscon-sin-Madison prior to his military service.

Jack married Marjorie K. Meulemans on May 20, 1950. She preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 1982.

He served his country in World War II with the 13th Armored Division and was stationed throughout Europe.

He was an active member of Annunciation Parish and the Rural Letter Carriers Associa-tion.

Jack was very involved with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed helping his three sons and a grandson achieve the level of Eagle Scout.

In later life, he became a very active member of the Elks Lodge 259, serving as exalted ruler as well as other positions.

He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post 11.

Jack is survived by his five children, John (Cheryl) Zadrazil of Appleton, James (Nancy) Zadrazil of Ashwaubenon, Bar-bara (Scott) Fossum of West Bend, Judy (David) Sutton of Menomonee Falls and David (Lori) Zadrazil, West Bend; 11 grandchildren, Ryan and Alex Zadrazil, Amber and Chad (fiancˇe Kristy King) Zadrazil, Andrea (Shawn) Parks, Erik (fiancˇe Jennifer Beverung), Paul and Brian Fossum, Jade (special friend Nate Kenworthy) Teal and Kaleigh Zadrazil; and a great-grandchild, Victoria Kenworthy.

Jack is further survived by his sister-in-law, Helen (Mel) Evrard; a special friend, Marian Georgia; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph; his sisters, Cecelia (John) Lloyd, Leona (Sum-ner) Sleeper and Bessy Zad-razil; and a brother, Bernard (Leila) Zadrazil.

Gathering time with family and friends will be held at Resurrection Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Green Bay, on Friday, Feb. 22, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Robert F. Morneau officiating.

Military honors will follow, and entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
