Bernice "B" Kaye
Bernice "B" Kaye, nee Bala, 88, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
She was born on April 29, 1919 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Andrew and Mary (nee Wisniewski) Bala and was raised in Cicero, Ill.
She was employed at the Sears home office in Chicago for many years, retiring on Jan. 31, 1978.
"B" resided for several years in Arlington Heights, Ill. and later in Phoenix, Ariz., Sun City, Ariz., Cedarburg and the Cedar Campus in West Bend.
She is survived by two children, Alice Kaye of Cedarburg and Theodore (Ann) Kaye of Moss Beach, Calif.; a granddaughter, Julia Kaye of Davis, Calif.; two brothers, Walter Bala of Riverside, Ill. and Andrew Bala of Willowbrook, Ill.; a dear friend, Karen Roberts of Cedarburg; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Budzynski and Gertrude Kanouse.
In honor of Bernice’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
