Herbert James "Herb" Frigge

Herbert James "Herb" Frigge, 88, of Hubertus was born to eternal life on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 surrounded by his beloved wife and family, after a long fight with Parkinsonís disease.

Herb was born into the loving arms of Joseph and Susan (nee Griesemer) Frigge on Dec. 21, 1919 in Milwaukee.

Herb met Celie at her familyís general store, Schickertís, in downtown Hubertus.

He later married her on June 14, 1941, together raising five children.

Herb honorably served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He went to school for watch making and later became postmaster in Hubertus.

After retiring in 1982, Herb and Celie enjoyed traveling and being with their grandchildren.

Herb is survived by his wife and best friend of nearly 67 years, Cecelia; five adoring children, Carol (Eugene) Neuburg of Arizona, Richard (Bertha) Frigge of Montana, Sandy (Paul) Nordvall of Richfield, Daniel (Sheila) Frigge of Hartford and Sherry Frigge of Chicago.

He is further survived by 16 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.

Herb will be also be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Herb will take place on Friday, Feb. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus, with Father Charles Hanel officiating.

Friends and family may visit at the church on Thursday from 3 until 7 p.m.

Following the Mass on Friday, the rite of Christian Burial will take place in St. Hubertís Ceme-tery in Hubertus.

The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
