Marion C. Wantoch
Marion C. Wantoch, nee Boehles, 83, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1924 to the late Harold and Esther (nee Pauly) Boehles.
She was the loving wife of Henry, whom she married on Sept. 4, 1943.
She is survived by her loving children; Craig (Kay) of Woodbury, Minn., Claudia (Jerry) Peterson of West Bend and Clark (Dawn) of Milwaukee; eight grandchildren, Phillip, Heather and Andrew Wantoch, Cassandra (Chad) Wohlt, Kelly (Quentin) Zentner, Ryan Peterson, Alexander and Alicia Wantoch; two great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Celia Wohlt.
She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband on Nov. 19, 2007 and one brother, Jerome Boehles.
Marion was born and raised in Milwaukee.
She was active in Christian Women of St. Romans, Ladies Auxiliary for Southside Business Club of Milwaukee and Milwaukee Society of the Polish National Alliance.
For more than 50 years she enjoyed playing sheepshead with her couple’s card club.
Marion and Henry loved traveling, but the light of her life was taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 4 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Father Jeff Haines officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m.
