Raymond F. Vensel

Raymond F. Vensel, 84, of Hartford passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008.

He was born Aug. 28, 1923 in Athens, Wis., the son of Frank and Gertrude (nee Millaski) Teresinski, and married Viola Seidel in Marshfield, at St. Johnís Catholic Church on Feb. 20, 1952.

Ray served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He worked at West Bend Aluminum for many years and at Chrysler Outboard Marine in Hartford for 28 years.

Ray was a 50-year member of the Disabled American Veterans in West Bend.

He loved to garden and enjoyed being surrounded by the beauty of nature very much.

He is survived by his loving wife, Viola, of 55 years; and a sister in Florida.

Ray is also survived by a special and good family friend, Mark J. Koehler of Milwaukee.

Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 262 State St.

Visitation will be at church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Interment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery.
