Meredith Woodstra of Milwaukee, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008 at the age of 34. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today, Jan. 8, at Crossroads Presbyterian Church (6031 W. Chapel Hill Road) in Mequon. Family will receive friends this afternoon at the church, from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Meredith was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Feb. 16, 1973, daughter of Don "Woody" and Margot (nee Bultman) Woodstra. She graduated from Cedarburg High School and UW-Milwaukee. Meredith worked for a number of years at the Harry W. Schwartz book store on the east side of Milwaukee and was also a flight attendant for Midwest Airlines in Milwaukee.
Meredith is survived by her parents Woody and Margot of Cedarburg; her brothers Christopher of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Michael of Cedarburg; and her grandmother Edna Woodstra of Fredonia. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
