Barbara "Barb" A. Wagenknecht
Barbara "Barb" A. Wagenknecht, nee Flint, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, two weeks after her 66th birthday.
Barb was united in marriage Aug. 27, 1960 to her beloved husband, Russell.
She was the loving mother of Rick and Wade, both of West Bend, who survive her.
She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Wendelborn; her mother-in-law, Marie Wagen-knecht; sisters-in-law, Mary Flint and Cyndee (Earl) Howard; and a brother-in-law, Jerold (Jean) Wagenknecht.
She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elva Flint (nee Lloyd); a brother, Jack; two nephews, David and Jeffrey; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
Barb worked at Universal Strap for 15 years and was a longtime member of St. Johnís United Church of Christ of Slinger.
She enjoyed birds and flowers, especially the flower gardens in her yard.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend, with Rev. Virginia Pych officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeralhome on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorials to Kathy Hospice, St. Johnís UCC or The American Cancer Society are appreciated.
