Doris E. Lunowa
Doris E. Lunowa, nee Feldmann, 88, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.
She was born on June 24, 1919 in Milwaukee to the late Fred and Norma Feldmann (nee Lutz), and graduated from North Division High School in 1937.
On March 2, 1946, she married Michael Lunowa in Milwaukee, and together they raised two daughters.
Doris was a member of Immanuel U.C.C. of West Bend and a former long-time member of Bethel U.C.C. in Milwaukee.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Michael; two children, Jean (William) Damm of Pardeeville and Gail (Ben) Brancel of Endeavor, a dear sister, Elda Grave of Marysville, Wash.; four grandchildren, Laura, Micheleen, Tod and Brandon and eight great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Magdalen Widish; brothers-in-law, Walter Widish and James Grave; and her great-grandson, Joshua.
A funeral service in honor of Doris will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at The Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Rev. Bill Wiederanders officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
Private interment will take place in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, on Tuesday.
