Marian Jamrosy, formerly of Newburg and Saukville, died early Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at Golden Living Center - Bradley in Brown Deer where she had been a resident for the last year.
Marian was born May 1, 1917 in the town of Trenton, daughter of Frank and Mary Laufer Esselmann. On Aug. 21, 1937, she married Forest Miller at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg. Together, they had three children. He preceded her in death in 1946.
On Feb. 19, 1966, she married Bernard Jamrosy in West Bend. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Mrs. Jamrosy was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg, and was a member of the Christian Women. She was also a member of the Saukville Legion Auxillary and the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by three children: Kenneth (Carol) Miller of Plymouth, James (Sue) Miller of Bisbee, Ariz. and Karen (Philip) Uselding of Saukville; two step-children, Thomas (Linda) Jam-rosy of West Bloomingfield, Mich. and Nancy (Gary) Kings-riter of Paynesville, Minn. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Donald (Charlotte) Esselmann of Port Washington, two sisters: Cecilia Menzel and Rosalie Westphal, both of West Bend, sister-in-law Bernice Mayer of Newburg, nieces, neph-ews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Forest Miller and Ber-nard Jamrosy, two brothers: Norbert and Gregory and four sisters: Laura Reichert, Marcella Blazel, Hildegard Luebke and Techla Fischer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 12 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg. Father Kevin Kowalski will officiate.
She will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until services at noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested by the family. The Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
